Need a time to relax and share “academic stress and survival” with other women? Ann Iorg, Helen Groat, other Mentors and Women's Network Leaders are available to you. Develop relationships with women in the Women to Women Mentoring Program
who have already invited you to call them. Email other WN Leadership anytime about their area of expertise. Plan to attend events listed in Weekly and Special Events below and announced in the eLoop

Married Students and Student's Wives . . .
All married students and student’s wives are considered members of our Student & Wives Fellowship (SWF) and are encouraged to fellowship with and minister to other GGBTS families. You can practice your leadership skills by assisting with an event or Bible Study. Experience the joy of ministering together and become better equipped for future service. 2013 SPRING WOMEN’S WEEKLY EVENTS
PRAYER GROUP 12:30-1:15pm (Acad. Bldg. Prayer Room, 111)
All GGBTS women are invited to pray together in our beautiful prayer room. This ‘on your knees’ group is led by Mary Harmon every Monday at 12:30pm. Come and go as you like. To submit prayer requests contact Mary.
PARTNERS IN MINISTRY TRAINING
(PMT) 6:20-8:30pm (Acad. Bldg., Room, 224)
PMT is a two-year unaccredited certificate program designed for Seminary student spouses regardless of educational background. There are no tests or papers; only light reading assignments. The eight courses are offered on a rotating basis, two per semester, lasting seven weeks each. PMT participants who successfully complete all eight courses will be presented with a certificate of completion This semester the first course, February 5 — March 19, is Marriage and Family taught by Ann Iorg. The second course, March 26 – May 14, is Foundations for Ministry. Each course is $25, which also includes childcare. Limited scholarships are available; contact email@example.com

SAMOBANG: KOREAN WOMEN FELLOWSHIP

Starting February 7, join Ann Gill, wife of Pastor David Gill, for fellowship and a time in God’s Word about topics concerning minister’s wives/families and women in ministry. This fellowship is taught solely in Korean. Childcare provided. For information contact Samobang President Boeun Choi

Put on your sneakers and put your kids in the stroller for some exercise around campus. No stroller yet? Come anyway! Meet other seminary wives and make new friends; all women welcome! CLOSE BY HIKE Saturday, February 9
9:45am (Meet at Admin. Bldg. flagpole for carpoo.l) Join us for a group excursion to Tennessee Valley located right here in Mill Valley. This is a beautiful area mostly unknown to tourists. The 1.7 mile easy hike leads to a beach with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. All Golden Gate students and families are invited to come! Hiking backpacks may be helpful for families with young children instead of strollers as much of the trail is sand. To carpool, meet at the flagpole in front of the Administration Building at 9:45am. WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP CONSULTATION

Who is My Neighbor? Reaching the World at My Doorstep 8:15am-6:00pm (Broadus Chapel, Acad. Bldg.)
Hosted by GGBTS Women's Network and led by quality women speakers, this conference is for current and potential women church leaders. Cost for students and student wives is $20 ($25 after Feb. 1), but only $10 if you volunteer. Volunteers are needed for mailing projects and assembling packets, room hostesses, and greeters. WATERFALL HIKE Saturday, March 16
8:30-11:30am (Meet at Admin. Bldg. flagpole for carpool.) We will be taking a 1.5 mile waterfall hike to a well-kept Marin County secret: The Cascade Canyon Open Space Preserve in nearby Fairfax. Come check out Cascade Falls, a 15-foot drop waterfall. After a short walk, you'll see the falls and be able to climb stairs that lead to a closer view. Children will enjoy the hike as well! PICNIC ON THE GREENFIELD Saturday, April 20
Come join us on the Greenfield for a fun group picnic. Bring your picnic blankets or use our tables. We'll bring drinks and desserts. You bring everything else! We even have a grill if you want to make your own burgers and hot dogs. This will be a fun opportunity to spend time with your neighbors here at seminary. FYI, the soccer club will be playing on the Greenfield from 8:30-11:00am. Go early and cheer!
