Northern California Campus Cooperative Libraries

GGBTS has a cooperative agreement with the Graduate Theological Union library system. The GTU library system consists of nine theological school libraries including the branch library at the San Francisco Theological Seminary (SFTS) in Marin County.

The library collection reflects the ecumenical spectrum of the GTU and the diversity of world-wide religious groups. The collection has not only the breadth to support a full range of theological education programs, but also considerable depth in many areas of religion and theological inquiry.

Please note that the GTU Library is a private, academic library with a collection of religion and theology materials for scholarly research. Its collections and services are created to serve the needs of the students and faculty of the Graduate Theological Union.

However, the GTU opens its library to the public, and all materials are available for on-site use. Community borrowing cards are available for purchase. Currently each semester, GGBTS Library sends a list of current students to GTU. GGBTS students are able to purchase a community borrowing card at a reduced rate of $50 per year. Please see visit http://library.gtu.edu/services/borrow.html for more detailed information.

The GTU Library catalog, GRACE, may be accessed online.
