Housing applicants are not considered until confirmed for seminary admissions.
Housing applications are available online. Priority deadlines for applications are May 1 and November 1 (for the following academic semester).
The housing application requires a non-refundable fee of $100. If housing is assigned, this fee will be applied to the required housing deposit; the balance is due upon check-in.
Although the Seminary makes every effort possible to accommodate all housing requests, priority is given to Southern Baptist students/family applicants. At times, priority is also given to applicants in particular degree programs. Current campus residents who require housing changes due to engagements, births, or other family dynamics are also assigned priority status. If necessary, the seminary will maintain waiting lists for apartment units/types.
Under normal circumstances, housing units will be available for occupation in mid-August for fall semester move-ins, and mid-January for spring semester move-ins. Any housing occupancy for new students prior to the stated move-in dates will be managed on a case-by-case basis.
