Dr. Earl Waggoner is passionate about connecting students with the rich traditions of Christianity. The collective thought and monumental events of the church not only tell a great story, but they offer effective resources for contemporary ministry.
Earl brings to the Southern California Campus ten years of Golden Gate Seminary teaching experience, primarily at the Rocky Mountain Campus. In Colorado he served also as an interim pastor, supply preacher, and a minister to the professional baseball community.
At this point he refuses to trade his National League loyalty from the Colorado Rockies to the Los Angeles Dodgers (but the American League Angels hold promise). He counts ten years of previous pastoral experience in churches of various sizes and contexts in Louisiana.
His wife, Kris, is a registered nurse, homemaker, and musician. The Waggoners have three adult children: Brooke (and her husband Brad), Luke, and Philip (and his wife Becky). |
