Dr. Allan Karr serves as director of the Nehemiah project in Church Planting, which is a joint venture of the North American Mission Board and Golden Gate Seminary. He has led congregations in four different states, planted several churches, nurtured numerous other church plants, and has served as a trainer for several national church planting conferences.
While based at the Rocky Mountain Campus of Golden Gate Seminary, Dr. Karr is responsible for connecting all eligible Golden Gate students to the Nehemiah Project resources and the North American Mission Board. Dr. Karr spends half his time in the classroom teaching courses related to church planting, missions, and intercultural leadership development. Dr. Karr and his wife, Kathy, have four children and live south of Denver in Larkspur.
